I know that I started this mainly as a model blog, but I have some self-portraits to share.  They were taken in the hotel room after Jay's workshop.  No studio lights, just the lights in the room...I'm kinda proud of my resourcefulness and odd brand of creativity.

Faker!

I hate when photographers get lucky and have a great port, but really really suck.

Also, the state of Nevada wants me to get pregnant.

Success!

Jay Leavitt ran a lighting workshop yesterday and I had a lot of fun  : D

The other model flaked so I was able to make a bit more cash, which was much needed for my trip to NY.  Plus we got to use the hotel room after.  It was *gorgeous*!  It was a special suite at the Golden Nugget and I was able to take some pics for stock backgrounds and to add texture in post.  I also tried to get some pics after but we had some problems with the lights so I didn't get everything I wanted.  At least the lights lasted throughout the workshop!  I'll probably edit later and if I like what I got I'll post it here.  For now, I'll leave you with two of Jay's images from the lecture part of the workshop.

Almost Home!

It's the end of my trip, I have one more shoot then I'm taking it a little easier for a bit.

I can't wait to be back hooooooooooooome!!!!!!!!!
